TURNAROUND SERVICES
OVER VIEW
In 2012, CCISL launched its ‘International Turnaround Engineering Group’ (ITEG), which boasts a cadre of professionals from all of the disciplines required to conduct a successful turnaround. This group has a wealth of knowledge and practical experience specifically in Turnaround Planning, Management, and Execution from both client and contractor perspectives.
With a sound Turnaround Planning and Management Model coupled with its ability to draw on the expertise of experienced refinery and plant turnaround planners and managers from Trinidad and Tobago’s well developed petrochemical sector, there’s nothing that CCISL’s ITEG cannot do when it comes to turnaround planning and execution.
BID PACKAGE DEVELOPMENT
Having worked in both Refinery and Chemical Plants for a number of years, CCISL has compiled a very comprehensive database of typical work scopes for most of the major equipment found in these plants. These work scopes can be tailored to suit the plant inspection reports and client needs and will form the basis for the development of bid packages.
In addition to saving time, we have found that this method also provides the client with a clearly defined work scope requiring little or no clarification during the bidding process. Typical refinery and chemical plant equipment scopes in our database include but is not limited to the following:

Once finalized, the ITEG will send the scope out for tender and select its executing subcontractors.
PROJECT MANAGEMENT
CCISL’s ITEG plans, develops, and executes all engineering tasks commensurate with the turnaround. This multi-disciplined team bears responsibility for the following:

Complete Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) for major projects that the client may incorporate within the turnaround mechanical window

Coordinate client designed projects within the turnaround mechanical window

Review turnaround projects for constructability issues and amend as required

Provide on-spot engineering for turnaround work orders during the inspection and execution phases inclusive of method statements and risk analyses
